JFH's absence leaves the Panthers vulnerable, having lost to the Tigers in 2023 without him. The Broncos, showing resilience even without Reynolds with a 2-1 record last year, are a steal at $4. Piakura goes over along with a couple of snapped Panthers’ ankles and it looks like Broncos weakness in 2024 is their middle so watch Sorensen capitalise. Call me crazy, but the Broncos at $4 has to be the best value of the week. Reynolds hasn't been great this season so far. So no Reynolds, no biggie. Everything is against em', so all the more reason to win, and win well. This means there's value to be found, and boy have I found it here. Panthers are yet to hit their stride, so Broncos to Win by 13+ isn't out of the question. EDIT.. You can get the same odds for Either Team to win by 13+.

Given Haas is out in addition to Reynolds I am going to back Panthers for the win. Ezra had the performance of his life against the Panthers in last year's final and I expect him to find some of that magic for this game. Dylan Edwards was strong last week and based on the data, Broncos have defensive exposure in the Center. Over 5.5pts for the Broncos and over 11.5pts for the Panthers in the first half also seem good value based on round 2 data (Broncos scored 12 pts and Panthers 16 pts by half time last week).

Difficult game for the broncs with Reynolds out and a few under an injury cloud. I'm going with Penrith (Under the proviso that Payne and Ezra are playing) to win a close one. Taylan May has been an absolute beast to start the season and the Bronc's edge defense with new combinations has looked a little suspect so have put him in there. I still expect the broncos to score at least two tries so 2.15 for 11-20 seems like the most logical outcome.

Raiders against all odds have looked pretty good in the first two games of the season. Warriors at home can never be written off. Lot of people were quick to write off the Raiders this season and while I don't think they'll necessary win the start looks very enticing as both teams have been sound defensively. I'll throw in Savage who has been on a tear and statistically the warriors leak tries down that side.

Sharks are the form team of the competition and the Tigers looked very ordinary last week. I think the sharks win well and I can't see the Tigers scoring more then 20. Looking over the stats for last year the Tigers have leaked a shocking amount of points down the right so Jesse Ramien for a double adds alot of value!

I think it's pretty wild for the Eels to be favorites personally but I do expect them to put up a fight. Statistically Turbo scores once in every 3 games so he goes in. Tasty little Friday night multi. DWZ crossed for a double in almost 40% of games last season and looks to be in similar form for 2024.
